This was the second most popular news story of the day. In this time of political unrest and foreign war and all the important event of the day, the trials and tribulations of a movie actress have become the focus of our society; possibly a worldview. This spectacle of a news story is not just out there as a piece of news, but as a piece of public interest. It is not just a story; it is THE story. The mass media does not create this piece of news as a spectacle, the subjects of this story have made it popular and made it important.
